Nik: A friend told me about My Fit Foods. It’s great. I’m a huge fan. I’m not trying to lose weight, but I find cooking for one to be rather dull, not to mention expensive, so I stock up on meals for the week from this place. Someone with OCD more severe than mine definitely organized the store. You walk in to find walls of refrigerators organized by breakfast, lunch and dinner. Within
New Year: Couch to 5K aka Get Beyonce’s Booty
Nik: Saw some buzz about this App online. Tried it. It’s genius. Love it.
Alex: You’re genius. I’ll check it out.
New Year: Green Juice
Nik: Green juice. I’ve been doing this for over a year, but I love it and wanted to share. Every Sunday I buy five green juices from Pressed Juicery or Juice Crafters and line them up in my fridge for the week. It’s the first thing I drink every morning. This simple ritual puts me in a healthy state of mind. We’re lucky to live here because you can find a
Hammer In My Head
Alex: Hangovers are real. They remind me how much older I am. Remember in college when you could go out Thursday, Friday, and Saturday? Sometimes add a Sunday Funday? I’m no stranger to a bad hangover, but even after three drinks I can feel it in the morning. Thank heavens for Juice Crafters, sunglasses, and Advil. What’s your cure?
On Top (feat. T. Shirt) – Flume
Nik: Today it’s taking me to ‘END OF PILOT’ and then to the top of Temescal. This song will get you where you need to go… Happy Monday. Oh and play it loud.
Alex: Comin’ in hot with Music Monday!
Skin Laundry
Nik: The thing I like about Skin Laundry is that you’re in and out in fifteen minutes. There’s no pain and I definitely noticed a difference in the overall tone of my skin, but you have to keep it up (they recommend once a week) and wear sunscreen daily.
Alex: Interesting. Not sure why, but
Thank You Notes
Nik: Sharing some love from one our readers, but also decided that this is a creative and genius way to send a thank you note. I usually send a thank you via text or email because I don’t have time to snail mail it, but then I feel guilty because it lacks personal touch. This is going to be my new way to say thanks. You get the speed of technology, but also the ...

Deadline Hollywood
Nik: Alex, subscribe to Deadline Hollywood. It covers entertainment industry related news–who’s selling what, who’s writing what, what movies are being made, who’s fired/hired, etc. You should start educating yourself.
Alex: Done and done.
