Nik:  Not that I’m sitting home taking tons of pictures of myself, but how do I take a good selfie?
Alex:  Taking selfie pics makes me feel funny, but it’s good to be uncomfortable every once in awhile.
Nik:  I agree, but I look constipated in every picture.  Ooh, let’s ask Jae.
Alex: Jae?
Nik:  Our friend.  You know…the fashion photographer (www.jaefeinberg.com).  She’ll have great tips.
Alex:  Oh, I remember.  I love her dog Shadow.
Nik:  Yeah.  Shadow’s sweet.  She just texted back.  Here’s what she said:
(Hi Nikstar.  Tricks for a good selfie.  Find your light.  Make sure you look good.  Take a bunch and throw the bad ones away.  Shoot your best side.   Have your eyes say something.  Be sassy.  Does that help? Doing a selfie is pretty easy cuz you can see yourself.  Oh yeah and come out of your neck, no double chins. xoxox, Jae)
Nik:  I just remembered when I modeled 101 years ago, a photographer told me to say the vowels.  It helps relax the mouth. That sounds pervy now.  Was he just being a perv?
Alex:  ayyy-eee-iiiii…
