Alex: It’s been almost two months since I’ve waxed my eyebrows. That’s a record. They’re starting to look like caterpillars.
Nik: They’re a little unruly.

Nik: I get mine waxed with Mirella at Anastasia in Brentwood.  She’s expensive, but I like that she listens to me.  I’m very specific.  I like a full brow.

Nik:  I read an article somewhere that supermodels put this on their face when they’re traveling, so of course I tried it. I put a few drops in the palms of my hands, rubbed them together and pressed my palms to my face before bed. I woke up, looked in the mirror and I look like Gisele. Okay, not really, but my skin is glowing and feels really soft. I also mixed it in with my body lotion post-shower. Rose oil is used to calm and soothe dry, irritated skin so this product is a no brainer for the winter months. Thanks supermodels!
Alex:  I’m not really sure how to respond to this because all I can think about is how annoying valentine’s day is. Yeah, I left the v lowercase for a reason. Because it sucks. It could be because I haven’t had that special of a valentine’s day yet. I take that back, last year Janae and I watched silence of the lambs, knitted, and ate popsicles. One year, we threw an ‘I Hate Valentine’s Day’ party. We took those heart decorations that have sweet sayings on them like LOVE BUG or FOREVER and changed them to LOVE BUGS ME and FOREVER AND NEVER. We even bought a pinata to whack at the end of the night. Okay, we did get the pinata idea from the film Valentine’s Day.
Nik:  But don’t you want rose oil for your face anyway? Maybe you can buy it on Monday which is Presidents Day and you won’t hate it so hard… BTW, I shared your sentiments until I had a boyfriend for a million years who lavished me with flowers and gifts and champagne and kissed me placeSSSWHAAAT am I about to write?! Nik:  The thing I like about Skin Laundry is that you’re in and out in fifteen minutes. There’s no pain and I definitely noticed a difference in the overall tone of my skin, but you have to keep it up (they recommend once a week) and wear sunscreen daily.
Alex:  Interesting. Not sure why, but the pictures on their site make me giggle. I think I’ve had too much coffee this morning. Let’s make our own face masks and take funny pictures. Girls in face masks are hott, right?
Nik:  Why do you always spell hot with two t’s?  Is that a thing?
Alex:  I for some reason thought when you refer to how hot someone is, you put two tt’s? I have no idea how or why, but I’ve been doing it my whole life. Is that not true? Have I been living a lie this entire time!?

Nik:  Not that I have cellulite anywhere on my body (cough), but if I did (cough), I’d recommend this product that I overheard the 40-something-hot-mama-owner-of-a-well-known-italian-eatery saying she slathers on day and night. I mean, if this bella donna can work around the most delicious food in LA and look that good?  Yeah, I bought it.
