It’s literally a zoo. And by zoo I don’t just mean crowded and kinda smelly, I mean I can’t tell if the aisles are filled with humans or animals. Have you ever stopped and people-watched? It’s nuts. I saw this mom, who by the way was wearing Skechers shape-ups, plow down an elderly man. Literally. Yes, the man was walking slowly, but not slow enough to where I’d push him and his cart out of the way. The lines are so long too. It’s like waiting in line for a roller coaster at six flags. I will end on a positive note. They have samples. Good samples too. One Saturday my roommate and I just walked around Ralph’s and ate all the samples for lunch. We should do that sometime
Nik: It’s funny when you’ve lived here for awhile, the ‘zooness’ seems normal until you go back home and notice how hard it is to slow down. Every time I’m visiting Wisconsin, I get a speeding ticket… I’m so stoked about the open road that it’s impossible to go anything under 80 mph. I also find myself speed walking through the grocery store because it’s so empty. It’s awesome. I could cross off a month’s worth of errands in an hour in Wisconsin. And I love that you and your roomie fill up on samples, but unless they’re handing out gold-filled doughnuts, I’m not setting foot inside a grocery store on a weekend.

Alex: Happy Halloween to you! I’m a wuss, I scare easily. I can’t do slasher movies. I just yell the entire time, either in pain from when they get stabbed or in anger at how stupid they are! Why do they always walk alone, slowly, in the dark?
Nik: Because if they ran with a security detail during the day, the movie would suck.
Alex: True. Well, here are the scary movies I can handle, they are more mind boggling than gory: Red Dragon, Silence, of the Lambs, Orphan, Cabin in the Woods, Possession.
