Nik:  What’s that thing you do with the copper liner? I want to try.
Alex:  Just take a coppery color and thickly line your lower lash line. Just the lower though. Put on a little mascara and poof, you’re good to go in T-minus two minutes.
Nik:  Poof. What brand? Pencil or shadow? Need more info.
Alex:  I have Mary Kay.  It’s a cream-based shimmery shadow. You can also use Urban Decay’s eyeshadow in Half Baked-golden bronze.

Text from Nik to Alex:  I don’t want to wash my hair.
Alex:  Baby powder.
Nik:  I have dry shampoo, but it kind of makes my scalp itchy.
Alex:  Baby powder is better.
Nik:  Even on dark hair?
Alex:  Yes. You don’t need a lot. Lightly sprinkle it on your roots and watch the magic happen.
Nik:  Magic?
Alex:  Oily roots, now you see them now you don’t.
Nik:  What’s the difference between baby powder and dry shampoo?
Alex:  I’m not sure, but it just works better. My hair looks and feels cleaner when I use the powder.
Nik:  Fine, I’ll try it.  And since we’re talking powder,  if I ever hear that you’re using drugs, this project is over.  Too many people move to LA and get enamored by assholes and start making bad decisions.  There are a lot of assholes out here.
Alex: Baby powder is the only powder I use. You don’t have to worry about that, Mom. Besides, baby powder is cheaper than both drugs and dry shampoo.
Nik:  I prefer older sister. And how do you know that?
Alex:  I don’t do drugs! Stop! I’m assuming drugs are more than $2.49, just a guess though.
Nik:  Depends if you’re adding a blow job.
Alex:  You’ve been watching too much Breaking Bad. Just try the baby powder.
Nik:  You need to watch that show.  Really.  As a writer, you must.
